I know it’s been a while since I last posted. There’s a lot to organise when you move to another country and have to start again, and it’s especially hard when you don’t have your family with you. In my case, my wife and kids. I’ve been living in a nice little suburb called Forest Lake in the South Brisbane area since November. I work up in Toowoomba, which is a 113km journey West of Brisbane in the Darling Downs area. I work 7 days on and 7 days off. So it works in well because I have time to sort things out and explore the region a bit. Over the past year of learning about the wonderful world of IM I have connected with many wonderful characters online and made friends. Thankfully I have learned quite a bit, enough to get started and keep going implementing the things I learn along the way. When you first start out it’s easy to get discouraged and give up because it’s often hard to figure it out yourself and sometimes just having the confidence and courage to go out and make a name for yourself can stop a few people. I know because it prevented me for a while, from taking action. Is Thesis Theme On Your Checklist When Building Blogs?

Recently I have been learning about Fan Pages on Facebook and the power they wield to drive traffic to a page or website/blog. I have also been learning about Niche Blogs or Sniper Blogs which are little mini sites that promote various products. I have built every blog I own (as opposed to outsourcing) which is a far cry from when I first started out and knew nothing about building blogs or websites. Even purchasing a domain was a bit of a hairy situation back then for me, so I have come a long way since then.
