4 Months In Australia And The Journey So Far

It’s been a while since I updated my blog I know. Truth is though, I’ve been thinking too much about what to write and haven’t really come up with too many ideas. Reason being that this blog is all about my journey to location independence so writing about how Australia has been so far is going a bit off topic. Perhaps I should have made this a travel blog! Unfortunately I haven’t done zip about my mission to location independence and I’m disappointed in myself, since that was one of the reasons of coming to Australia in the first place. The job I managed to secure upon arrival is a demanding one and it requires patience and focus 24 hours a day and 7 days per week. The Australian Adventure

I know it’s been a while since I last posted. There’s a lot to organise when you move to another country and have to start again, and it’s especially hard when you don’t have your family with you. In my case, my wife and kids. I’ve been living in a nice little suburb called Forest Lake in the South Brisbane area since November. I work up in Toowoomba, which is a 113km journey West of Brisbane in the Darling Downs area. I work 7 days on and 7 days off. So it works in well because I have time to sort things out and explore the region a bit.
